Please answer every question to the best of your ability – the more information we have on the cat, the easier is it to determine if we can accept it. A lack of information can result in your application being denied. Please keep in mind that CVCW is an extremely small organization with limited resources. Our ability to approve applications is based on the availability of those resources.

Do you have the means to make a donation to CVCW to help offset the cost of the care for the cat you are surrendering? Donations can be made directly to Venmo or one of our veterinarians, or can be in the form of items we typically need such as cat food or litter. (We will never deny an application solely on the basis of inability to donate)

Do you understand and acknowledge that CVCW makes no promises about what will happen to the cat once it is surrendered? CVCW will make every effort to secure proper medical care for sick or injured animals, including connecting with rescues, working with veterinarians, and seeking community support/donations, but cannot promise the animal will not be euthanized if a) the veterinarian recommends it as the best course of action, b) the care needed to maintain the pet's health and safety is beyond the capabilities of CVCW, or c) sufficient funding or placement with another rescue cannot be obtained.
